It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, this is mainly due to hibernating through the dark sombre months of the British winter and also some very exciting work projects coming up which has left me with little extra time. Now that Spring seems to have sprung and the days are getting longer I can feel my energy levels increasing and I’m almost having the urge to go to the gym, happier and healthier days are ahead.
So today it starts, running around a rainy London in a variation of heels and ballet flats trying to make each show, a diet of canapés and champagne and plenty of fashionista schmoozing. I love it. See you on the other side…or Wednesday when it’s all finished. x
I can think of nothing more fabulous than rummaging through Diane von Furstenberg’s extensive personal archive at her dreamily-named Conneticut estate Cloudwalk. ‘It’s hard not to go a little ga-ga over this shoot.’ Says Natalie Joos, style blogger of Tales of Endearment. Natalie is the first person EVER to gain access to the prestigious Diane Von Furstenberg’s clothing archives. Not even Diane’s granddaughter Talita knew of their existence. Models Tali Lennox, Laura Love and Elizabeth Gilpin show us that the older threads are just as lust-worthy as today’s collection as Joos styles the campaign using both vintage and modern DVF attire.
Naturally, the first shot is dedicated to the famous wrap dress, ‘its safe to say that Diane owes her entire success and tirelessly regenerative fashion career to this “simple little dress”. She was only twenty-six when she made the first one and “had no idea it would become such a phenomenon.’
MTV Presenter Lilah Parsons shows us how to stay cool yet stylish during this glorious heatwave. Teaming a high waisted floral skater shirt with a lurex crop top, the perfect combo for presenting at Wireless Festival last weekend.
I’m so happy that we’ve finally got some summer weather. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve packed away my winter wardrobe in hope we’ll have more than one day of sun only to then unpack it again as I’m shivering on my morning commute. I’m 100% a summer girl, for me it means summer dresses, BBQ’s, salads, Pimms, Rose wine in the garden, laughter and family time. So what better time to get the family over for some garden fun!
